I am in Weblogic 12.2.1.2. When I undeploy and redeploy an application (updated version / with (or) without modifications), the application goes to "Remove Initializing" state.
It was mentioned as a bug in 12.1.x.
The workaround is as follows.
1. Undeploy the application
2. Restart the server
3. Deploy the application and start the same.
